I learnt an incredible amount in school and I am so grateful to all my teachers. Being a teacher is hard work and, honestly, I don’t think I would be where I am today without their guidance, support and care throughout the years. That being said, I think that schools are still heavily focused on education, exams, grades and textbook teaching.
I’ve always loved cooking, but to be more exact, I’ve always loved following a recipe. I don’t have the cooking genes in me but I love finding new recipes to spice up my day-to-day food. I especially love cooking sweet treats that won’t make me feel guilty when I eat the whole thing! Flavours for Health Malta provides the ideal snacks, sweets and mixes for that! Whatever you fancy, you’ll find a healthy alternative on their website.
Korres is a brand that I was always curious about. Skincare products made out of natural ingredients are always incredible to try if you want to give your skin some TLC. That is why I was so excited to hear that Korres Malta can now be found at local pharmacies, mainly Remedies Pharmacy.
You know what? A few months ago, I was the first to preach about distancing yourself from social media from time to time, in my post about why I took a break from blogging and social media. However, every night, I find myself scrolling endlessly through my Instagram feed and watching, behind a screen, how perfect everyone’s life really is. Ultimately, that’s what everyone, including myself, choose to portray on social media. It’s not even a question about being fake and showing only the happy parts of our lives. It’s simply because happy moments are what we celebrate – we don’t commemorate sad days by taking photographs and keeping memories. It’s no wonder we get caught up with social media.
It’s that time of year where I like to sit down and reflect about the past twelve months that have whisked by – not for the purpose of a new year resolution but with the intention of learning more and more about myself and those around me each year.
